Share the Holy Spirit conferences started in 1995 originally run by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and The Servants of Jesus Community but now wholly run by the Servants of Jesus Community. The conference began with an emphasis on Christian unity and evangelisation leading up to the Sydney Olympics in the year 2000. Since the Olympics the conferences have continued to change lives and have been an effective witness of unity. Speakers and leaders from around the world have come to the conference to minister such as;
• Robin Mark (Singer and Songwriter; Album: Revival in Belfast, Ireland)
• Father Tom Forrest (Catholic Director of Evangelization, )
• Tony Campollo (Renowned author and speaker)
• John and Paula Sandford (Founders of Elijah House)
• Father Thomas Hopko (Orthodox scholar and writer)
Today the Holy Spirit continues to unite Christians and bring about tremendous change in peoples lives through this conference. It is an opportunity where individuals and families can experience and celebrate God's love together. There have been many testimonies of healing both physical and emotional and changed lives.
In 2009 the conference was held at the Servants of Jesus Centre, Seven Hills, NSW for the first time. Whilst Kids and Youth were held at Model Farms High School, Baulkham Hills, NSW, this will continue in 2011. For more information about the conference email: shs@servantsofjesus.org
