Servants Friends



WHAT IS "SERVANTS FRIENDS "?

Established in 2008, the "Servants Friends International Inc" is a group of like minded Charismatic Christian Communities that relate together for mutual support, encouragement and further development in the life of the Holy Spirit. Community life is often a difficult walk in the modern age and groups may benefit greatly from relationships with others who have a similar calling in Christ. The Federation was established by Joe & Julie Chircop after consultation with other Christian Community leaders. Joe & Julie have over 25 years experience as leaders in the Charismatic Renewal in Australia and have felt for some time that God was leading them to help develop other Christian groups.  Joe is the founding elder of the Servants of Jesus Community, Sydney, Australia.

THE NATURE OF THE FEDERATION:

  1. Related communities are equals in status.
  2. Groups are encouraged to have a brotherly concern for one another, but are not legally joined or responsible for each other.
  3. Groups share a vision to foster the growth of Christian community.
  4. Groups share a desire to foster the spread of the Gospel together - including overseas mission.
  5. Leaders from the communities meet together at least annually to share and discuss the work of the Holy Spirit among them.

MISSION OF THE FEDERATION:

  1. To find likeminded Communities who would like to join the Federation
  2. To help develop these existing Communities
  3. To help establish and grow new Communities around the world
  4. To oversee, establish and develop Conferences around the world to further propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ (eg: Share the Holy Spirit Conference in Sydney)

We are also involved with and working with a group in New Zealand, Sth America, Europe and Papua New Guinea.
