COMMUNITY CARE
Community Care is a benevolent society (charity) of the Servants of Jesus (Reg. No. SF 1217).
This charity has been created to provide a Christ-centred ministry for the relief of poverty, suffering, distress, misfortune and helplessness of people.
Community Care Counselling provides Christian psychological interventions. Christians sometimes find secular psychology and counselling can sometimes suggests methodologies contrary to their faith. Christians often want the spiritual dimensions of their problems addressed and a spiritual dimension in the solution.
WHO DOES COMMUNITY CARE HELP?
Community Care Counselling help people suffering from OCD, sexual abuse, effects of childhood trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, addictions, marriage counselling and sexual orientation issues.
HOW MUCH DOES SEEING A COMMUNITY CARE COUNSELLOR COST?
Fees charged for consultations are linked to a persons wage and what they can afford. People can get a referral from a doctor for psychology services and get the majority of their costs refunded by Medicare. Certain health funds provide rebates for psychological services.
