Community Care

Established on the 26th April 1995 as a department originally within the Servants of Jesus Community, Community Care became its own entity on the 5th September 2001 and currently ministers to the general public by providing a FOODBANK on Friday nights:

This charity has been created to provide a Christ-centred ministry for the relief of poverty, suffering, distress, misfortune and helplessness of people. To see our aims and objectives click here.

FOOD BANK

We are an authorized agency with Foodbank NSW and will distribute weekly food parcels to local residents who are unemployed or a struggling pensioner. If you could benefit from receiving a food parcel, a form of unemployment I.D and/or pension card is necessary to register.

Food parcels are available for pickup on Friday nights between 6.00pm - 7.30pm at the Servants Centre, 15 Park Rd, Seven Hills.

A sausage sizzle is also provided for those receiving food parcels.

DONATIONS

Community Care is a non-profit benevolent institution (Reg. No. SF 1217) and currently obtains almost all of its funding from donations from The Servants of Jesus Community. Community Care would like to expand its services to provide support to more of the underprivileged in our society; however due to limited funds it is restricted to its current forms of assistance.

If you would like to assist Community Care with funding or with the use of facilities etc, please feel free to contact us on 02 9624 8866.

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductable. To make a donation please contact us.
