and will distribute weekly food parcels to local residents who are unemployed or a struggling pensioner. If you could benefit from receiving a food parcel, a form of unemployment I.D and/or pension card from Centrelink is necessary to register.
The service is open from 5pm. Food parcels are available for pickup on Friday nights between 6.00pm - 7.30pm at the Servants Centre, 15 Park Rd, Seven Hills.
A sausage sizzle is also provided for those receiving food parcels.
Community Care is a non-profit benevolent institution (Reg. No. SF 1217) and currently obtains almost all of its funding from donations from The Servants of Jesus Community. Community Care would like to expand its services to provide support to more of the underprivileged in our society; however due to limited funds it is restricted to its current forms of assistance.
If you would like to assist Community Care with funding or with the use of facilities etc, please feel free to contact us on 02 9624 8866.
